Online Weather Forecasting Prediction Program Coastal Carolina University

Department of Chemistry & Physics at Coastal Carolina University

Welcome to the Online Weather Forecasting Prediction Program!

Introduction

Welcome! The Online Weather Forecasting Prediction Program is a service of the Department of Chemistry and Physics in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences at Coastal Carolina University that allows anyone to create their own custom weather forecast using the university's computer clusters. The Advanced Regional Prediction System (ARPS) software, created by the Center for Analysis and Prediction of Storms at the University of Oklahoma (CAPS), is used for all weather forecasting.

Programming of the website and the web-integrated forecast program was done by Ben Ujcich, Var Limpasuvan, and Svetlin Roussev.

First time running a forecast? Check out the about page to get started.
